Addressing the Global Food Crisis – Oxfam in partnership with Asia Society
Asia Society, in partnership with OXFAM America, launched a series of panels on the Food Price Crisis. The first of the panel series, The Silent Tsunami: Addressing the Global Food Crisis, took place on October 16th with the participation of Christopher Delgado, Strategy and Policy Adviser at the World Bank’s department for Agriculture and Rural Development, Masood Hyder from the World Food Program who is a representative to the Senior Steering Group of the UN High Level Task Force on the Global Food Crisis, Raymond C.
